K-nearest neighbor algorithm analysis for path determination in network simulation using software defined network

Software defined network (SDN) is a new approach concept for planning, developing, and operating computer networks. Routing the process of selecting paths on system to send or forward packets destination network. This study aims obtain results calculation analysis using k-nearest neighbor (k-NN) method as implementation recommendations. The use mesh topology design with predicted values throughput, jitter, delay, packet loss. value used recommendation manager determine best path. path selection from i) path-1 (very good) which includes switch 1, 2, 4; ii) path-2 (good) 3 4 iii) channel-3 (moderate) through iv) channel-4 (bad) 3, 4. While confusion matrix accuracy=72.31%, precision=96.08% recall=87.84%.
